Camera-equipped buses could automatically ticket

Everything imaging today (see earlier post here). SF is looking into getting cameras on their buses for issuing tickets.

FWIW: I’m working on a post on buses, since I ride ’em to work everyday. You’ve read my harangue on car pooling (if not, see here and here), and now you know it’s because I look into very few multi-passenger cars on my bus ride.

If signed into law by Governor Schwarzenegger, “forward-facing digital video cameras would be installed on city buses,” which would then be used to automatically ticket the owners of vehicles that are caught “blocking buses.”
